For the MILLIONTH TIME, I’m going to tell all young people:
Cops are NOT your FRIENDS.
They are NOT there to make your life better.
They are NOT there for you to have a nice little chat with.
They are NOT there for you to open up your soul to.
Cops are hired to make busts.
Their job is to ARREST people and CHARGE them with crimes, and these long interviews are used to make you INCRIMINATE yourself and collect as much verbal confessions as possible so the charges will stick, so that later you WILL be convicted in court OR you’ll be coerced into making a plea-bargain.
Cops do NOT care if your life is destroyed forever by convictions.
They don’t care if you are forthcoming, or polite, or helpful.
You will NOT win ANY brownie points for coming clean and telling them all that occurred.
You’re only wrecking your own life and your own future and all your chances of getting a future acquittal or a good deal.
If you’re arrested, always, ALWAYS, ask for an attorney, then keep your mouth 100% SHUT. Period.
After you ask for an attorney, the cops are required to stop questioning you.
At that point, if they continue, just keep repeating “Attorney, please.”

What’s weird is being in the back seat with a fourteen year old girl watching Lion King of all movies.
Fifty years ago it was not uncommon, everyone under 21 were classified as kids. Large groups of friends got together on weekends for socialising, everyone in the groups would know who was with whom. That’s how they stayed safe. It was very uncommon for the boy to seek out a younger girl. Mothers were teaching their daughters to be family prepared.

Cops talked him into telling on himself. Cause they said they didn’t have any proof if they were messing around. The boy mentally acted like he was around 12-14.
He does seem like a strange dude based on how he talks alone, but a lot girls in my highschool had older boyfriends 1 or 2 years, sometimes 3 years above. Girls didn’t only reject the tools, they also rejected every guy their own age.

In Germany, the age of consent is 14, with no restrictions. How is it the year 2026 and people still don’t know to shut the fuck up, not answer questions, and ask for an attorney. If you’re in the interview room and you’ve been read your rights, talking is not going to help you in any way.
If this kid would have just kept his mouth shut and got the girl to do the same there is absolutely nothing the cops could have done, other than take her home and embarrass them both.
He wasn’t trespassing, he wasn’t in area where he forbidden to be. Had he kept his mouth shut and not permitted the search of the car he would have never been caught.

It’s a little hard to be outraged as I was fifteen when I met my future husband who was seventeen. When we were still seeing each other a year later, he was a legal adult, and I was not. We ended up together, happily married for many years.
I was 15 and my first boyfriend was 18. We were together for years and had a lovely relationship. We’re still friends now 50 years later.
